Everything is going to be alright
He whispers to himself,
He was only nine years old
When his
mom went to go find help

He wanted to know what was wrong
She didn't want him to feel her pain
But he felt,
he felt everything

7 years they came and went
Now mom was gone
So he looked for love in women
And tried to be strong,

Broken hearts and dreams
Stretched far as you could see
all he wanted....
All he wanted was to feel nothing

And as he sat there within that bed
Pictures lay there in his hand
Tears streamed from his eyes
He cried

" if theres a god out there
please hear my prayer,
im lost and im scared,
cause i have no where to turn
Ive come a real long way,
and i'm not sure I can make it any farther,
so if you're listening,
why don't you give a helping hand
to your children"

He got out of that phase
He felt oh so great
and Finally he was fine

Until the day that he met a women
Who changed his whole life
One thing lead to another
Next thing you know
9 months go by

now he's a father

So there they are laying on that bed
Holding our little Angels head
Tears fell from his eyes
He cried.....

" if theres a god out there
please hear my prayer,
im lost and im scared,
cause i have no where to run
Ive come a long long way,
and i'm not sure I can be a good father,
so if you're listening,
Please give a helping hand
to your children"

With two babies
Now growing boys

Who is now
his every thing

He never thought
In this world
You could love anything
As much as them

And he understands
The fathers love

So as he sits there to watch them play
His hearts no longer cold

He walks to them
And whispers
"hey there something you should know"

"i'll always be there
I truly care
I was lost and afraid
Had nowhere else to turn
I had no clue
What to do
now I have both of you"

So if you're lost out there
Dont feel so alone
Don't worry child
Because you have a father who loves you than could know
