deep down in wonder I secretly said
about this sweet girl, that's in my head
"torn from my sadness that whistled away
filling my heart with tears everyday
plagued by her looks and her shining
the task was impossible for me to stop whining
she came up to me and asked, how are you today?
I couldn't believe it, I thought, no way!

we grew old together and are 91 now with love on our faces
through all this life and to have seen so many beautiful places
