Winter

The 2 A.M Writer

Tell me, why I'm going home like this

Why is it so bad and cold?

Wind chills my chest, covers the burning guilt

Shame in adolescent emotion

Wish it was calm as the Summer

...

No sleeping and breathing

The two of them clash like planes

Nosedive into the great sea,

and will I meet you under the waves?

Wish it was passionate like Autumn

...

Painkillers won't numb my head for long

Alcohol only seals my eyes for awhile

You're still creeping in my thoughts,

along with my final question

Am I still creeping in yours?

...

It's as painful as the Winter

This is really cool. I had to read it 3-4 times before I appreciated it. Nicely done.
