As You Struggle For Your Life.

kevin browne

As you struggle for your life
running over Cathedral tops looking down upon your sins
strutting streets with your handbag and leather boots
crouched in every corner where a shade of red exists
shaking hands with strangers in the middle of the night
dealing with some narcotics you found in someone's handbag
two bright beaming lights pull up beside your thighs
are you up for business cause you're oh so handy tonight
yeah you're oh so handy as you struggle for your life
in comes another £50 but out goes another vice
hyper dermic needles stuck addiction in your arm
conscience drowned in the bottle of your unforgiving
looking for some money and sleeping in the bins
waking up before midnight stinking like a skunk
broken heels with a skull crossed pattern on your skin
pull yourself together girl as you struggle for your life.
