There once was a handsome boy,
Like a prince right from a book.
Who carried a little pocket mirror,
To adore his indisputable looks.
No one could compare to such beauty,
It didn't matter what they did.
One day they'd look like pumpkins,
And the next they'd look like squid.
Until that day when Edward came,
In fashionable mens attire,
And when the boy looked into his pocket mirror,
He was a bloody Cicada.

Beautifully put together, flows quite nicely off the tongue.
This is a wonderful work for children,
clean, witty and all of what omgoli
says . a withstand the time nursery rhyme is what you have penned here.
