What a world we live in.
The evil. The sadness. The death. The fear
...is nothing compared to the light we hold near.
People giving to charities, helping one
another to their feet,
Babies playing with puppies, and beautiful
music, oh how upbeat!
Love in the air, compassion in the streets,
Astonishing mountains and beaches and
fields so sweet!
What a world we live in.
More beautiful than belief, it's able to
conquer our sin, What a relief.
There's a power within humanity,
That when we all learn to love one another,
Regardless of race, gender, or sexuality,
Our minds lose their chaotic insanity.
In order to love, you do not have to agree
with what they believe,
Just protect them, put them first, and
soon you'll see,
The real power you truly have within, by
living selflessly.
What a world we live in.
I'm pretty damn proud.
Who cares about the darkness?
Because our radiance roars loud.
