They paint the world Bright and loving.

It washes away to see bleak, grey, depression.

Lift you from sadness,

or bury you further in its hole.

 

There's no escape from emotions,

their loving, caring claws,

their cold, dead hug,

and their pure emptiness

too strong to fight,
