Do you use both sides of the paper
and only one side of your brain
a drain on the economy of both?
Do you use both sides of your heart
smiling with one side of your face
beguiling someone of another race?

Like the poem Augustus. I feel like that a lot. I just wish that we all got up everyday trying to help each other out no matter what the circumstances. We all breathe the same air, for crying out loud!
On Facebook today a friend posted an article on attachment theory. The way kids in some families are being raised today really scars them for life. They just aren\'t capable of healthy relationships. Thanks for the comment.
Thankfully my kids have not had to be exposed to that kind of environment. When I married, it would always be a partnership. I know that most relationships with kids involved do not always turn out pretty. But, the kids that are friends with mine are nice individuals and always look to me for advisement, which I happily give keeping in mind the respect for their parent. I am worried about the future, to be honest. Every child has to have the feeling being loved, even those whom do not want to have anything more to do with their parent. They know in their heart they could change things between them and their parent. It is up to each and every one of us to do so...:)
Great write
Thanks Tony.
