So Cupid Is A Fool.

kevin browne

sentimental me found cupids bow and arrow
sometime, somewhere, somehow, bring her back to me
love buried deep inside turns the hands way back in time
touching, very indeed, hand in hand together at last
passions are made of nothing but the finest part of pure love
my souls fire burning phoenix from the flames, life begins again
honest with a heart brings out the rarity of despising kindness
flowers need to grow, with a heart I mean, never let it go
torn apart from a tear, my guidance steers me through
I would not wish any companion in the world but you
a bended knee only makes the hole grow bigger
deepening thoughts, sincerity helps, don't be fooled
arm in each others arm, a delicious way past my time
holding and having a summer in my breath filled with bloom
brings it closer, closer than most, for I can ever dream
untouchable, unforgettable, unrehearsed bends it's way in to
stay a little longer with me, look in the mirror and reflect
so cupid is a fool, so foolish is he is maddening a ladies heart
fell in love but unsure leads the way with passion full of doubt
cursed in a dream a nightmare but it's beautiful, she's there
there is a place, a solid place for the two of us, in our hearts
lovingly love together, each filling in all the different parts
sun shining shadows beneath the sky, so I look up to the stars
and can't believe it, a love story ending up on Jupiter and Mars.
