My Eden

The 2 A.M Writer

I'm such a fool to you

Just another jester who'll dance in your garden

Cherub fountains and thorns on a bush

Caught my ankle and snap my inhibitions

...

You keep begging for a drink

And yet I'll finish the whole bottle

Baby angel dying of thirst

But I never will let you in my Eden

...

I'm gonna cut you with the glass you've molded

Only to turn the shard to my eyes

Blinded of your blue green lies

They won't convince me anymore

...

You keep begging me for a drink

And yet I'll swallow all my pills

Chug the fire and taste the teeth

I will never let you in my Eden

...

Swallowing me into another lifeless prison

I'll be doing half a dime in your bowels

Stuck in you, and with your memories

I gotta get out, but I'll never leave for long

...

You keep begging for a drink

And I'll keep downing my sorrow

You beg me to stay

But I want you out of my Eden

...
