On The Shore

The 2 A.M Writer

I'm not going to hide anymore

Crawling through the waves back to the shore

Keep knocking me down, I say fuck my lungs,

mouthfuls of salt water and smoke will keep me vigor

...

I'm not going to care anymore

Chewing on my own tongue to stop my tendencies

Cutting muscle with glass,

it's to push my neck a few feet forward

...

I'm not going to hurt anymore

I'll stop sending messengers to your gates

I mean, after all,

you keep killing them at the doorstep

...
