blossoming is a beauty that sits and waits
so love nature and then the life it breeds
pardon me when you stand so small
on our land where the past ghosts live
crowned on a thorn that bleeds regret
turned our wonder into flowered dreams
underneath the sunny skies, we told some tales
with some old summer story about a willow tree
and two lovers kissing, appear to be kissing what
led down together on the grass with the sun on their backs
surrounded by it all, everything we ever wanted
sat on our plates which life always has.
