My blue eyes
Pretty blue eyes
I've seen much, I've seen so little
Echoing in my chest cavity

Never fold my teeth

I can hear the children laughing
Hula hoops and mortar shells,
What was more common to dodge to them?
...
The curtains pulled down
My jaw eroding along with my muscle
Never shed any of what lies under the gums
Teeth must stand tall and proper
...
My ears still ringing
Everyday they slowly fade away
Along with my kin asking,
if I may shed what lies under the gums
...
