The feeling of regret
Deeper than any pain
It settles making itself at home in your head
Eating away at who you are
Never letting you move on
The what if's we ask ourselves
Trying to figure out anything
Some way to get another chance
To undo the past
Some way to expel this regret

Great write! I can relate on regret and it's a difficult thing because we can't undo the past but love ourselves enough to forgive ourselves and move on.--Christina
