Clocks and Refrigerators

clark_taylor

He sits there with his

Cell phone

Quiet and distracted

The only sounds heard are

A clock's ticks and

A refrigerator that runs

Every once in a while

You can hear

A house settling and

A chair that creaks

Really there are

Differences in

Quiet and Silence

Quiet is

A sound unnoticeable

While silence is

A noise that does

Not exist

Honestly

Both are

Sensational

    I love this poem
For me it is so good
    I can actually hear the
    Clock tick I have sat
    In that very chair,,,
    Well done....
