An Endless Ride

poetboy123

There's no place you can run and hide

No place where you can curl up and cry

You're booked for an endless ride

From now until the day you die

Fraught with sorrow and periled with pain

Covered by blood, sweat, and tears

History a memoir of the slain

Living life plagued by your fears

Not everything is as worrisome as it seems

For throughout this journey you will see

People like you with hopes and dreams

Not everything is horribly dreary

For darkness would not exist without light

And honesty will never die without a fight

If you stand and believe for what is right

You will ride through this endless night
