Winter / Had remembered Autumn days

Reivax Camlost

To stare into a crystal lake of blue

And there to wistful take a breath of old

To dream of carefree autumn colors, rue'd

Of woodsmoke casting fallen maple leaves in gold

Now fleeting tones of winter lightly seeming

To grow darker with the ice lake gleaming

Gather shadows with the world into endless cold

Chilling. Heh, heh. Teasing in a way but I could actually feel emotionally The contrast of seasons. Nice.

Nice one- ha! I'm glad you felt something. The contrast was intended, and it's cool someone picked up on it.
