Words

laurennmckenna

No words

can describe how your

soft lips

feel as they graze across the

crook of my elbow.

Your brown curly hair tickled my arm softly as

your head moved closer to my neck.

This moment,

One that I cannot forget.

Rather than loving for the sake of it,

we love for the love of it.

Our purpose of existence,

caught in a single night,

a single few hours.

And later, we'd snuggle up with a cup of tea,

and I'd be wearing your tshirt.

You'd kiss my forehead every now and again,

reminding me you were there,

as between my tired, shut eyes

and the hot tea against my lips,

nothing comforted me more

than your touch

under the stars

on your balcony.
