Call For Help

poetboy123

Surrounded by those I call friends

Watching them lead to their own ends

Succumbing to their selfish greed

Working for only their needs

If they have not reached that point

And do believe in the values of truth and peace

The effort and time they put only disappoint

So I demand their immediate release

I pour my heart and soul so love would prosper

I know there must be others like me

Those who seek to heal and not injure

Those who can dream and truly see

I write this not to be conceited

Nor am I out for blood

I gather my voice and give a loud yelp

For this is my call for help
