Moon’s
glow give way
placid fog slowly lifts pass treetops
mystically fade away
early
birds’ songs
hush nocturnal harmonies
morning glories s t r e t c h out w i d e
in dawn’s crisp air
as
did
I
feel
sunbeams stream
through tree leaves and good morning
kiss me
to
my eyes’
delight blue jays
and cardinals in flight, share
the sky with butterflies
dew
droplets
claim their spot on
blades of grass where daffodils
and daisies chill and dandelions lazily
await the bumble bees
to light
morning moments
(I love)
to
wish
I
could be…
at
the wind’s mercy
in a clear blue sky to spy
HIS creations that soothe the soul
and thrill the heart
morning moments
(I really love)

Great write. Living on a farm I enjoy mornings as well
Hello Tony, If I lived on a farm, I would never get chores done for being inspired to write, constantly! Thank you for your support!
Welcome, I have that problem sometimes
It is the best time! Lovely work and metaphors.
WriteBeLight, Yes, I've always thought so. Thanks for the encouragement!
