Beneath those heavy eyelids
Is a girl who fears the stage
Youth will now be stolen
Her decisions ready made
How hard you've work to be here
Now the lights they seem so cold
It's a shame you had potential
But your contracts signed in blood
When we see you on tv
We'll know exactly who you are
Just another star that time forgot
Who could have been much more
Your piercing eyes and jet black hair
Fade out to gentle greys
You're favourite colour's red
But the public know it's green
How sad to see the world go by
Freewill you'll never claim
It's so hard to see that empty smile
All I see is the curve of your distain
