Silenced

v_s

The minute you turned your back,

her heart went black,

her soul turned to coal.

She was blinded,

thought her pain had to be silenced.

So she took a knife,

didn't think twice.

Her wrist she slit,

without even a twist.

She fell to the ground,

not even a sound.

They found her dead, but in her head

she knew

her pain had to be silenced.
