Advancing While We De-Evolve

My observations of societies soul.
This is where we are now as a whole.

Idicrocry the movie predicted the future.
Society will only reward the do-nothing moocher.

Rather than the intelligence of the heart.
We go with what convenient, not with what's smart.

The top selling products want the consumer to be lazy.
All the stimulation, clouds the mind, makes it think hazy.

Technology increases on an exponetial curve.
Spiritually we are on a collision course, we need to swerve.

Electronic processes becomes faster and faster.
As brain challenging desires “are put out to pasture.”

Mankind has the ability to go into outerspace.
But society is more concerned with a celebrities face.

As Intelligence/knowledge grows higher and higher.
Complacency in society, is becoming a problem quite dire.

Technology will make everyone "fat and happy" as a nation.
Laziness, ignorance, and, sloth becomes our foundation.

The ego driven cleverness of the mind is praised.
We feed the hedonistic part until it is crazed.

We experience reality on a thin veneer of lies.
Amongst all the neon lights in the city, our spirit cries.

Greed is our god. Wisdom is our sin.
Know your place. Do not question.

Unity is fantasy. Division is key.
We fight with each other. Ignoring the oligarchy.

Past & future is a concept of the mind.
On theses thought paths, nirvana is hard to find.

Reality is … there is not memories. Only now.
No past, no present, only the tao.
