My body full of quivers,
my body full of fears.
Despite my absent heart
It began to fill with tears.
I let myself completely free again,
and to my surprise and shock
Something much less painful
ended up in stock.
I began to think less squealy
That not all apples are mealy.
The more positive I got,
and another something or other, I bought.
And the fact that maybe a much simpler man,
kept me in his thoughts.

Beautiful! I like some of the words in this poem a lot. It makes a very real picture and feeling. This poem seems to come to life.
Thank you so much, I try to make my writing relateable, or if it's something deep, make it understandable. 🙂
