Just Visiting!

Dford1

I glanced outside my window that Tuesday morn.

The snow trickling down, failing to escape my attention.

It held me there, just as a fire’s flame without the frolic.

A sense of calm ignites me as it quietly coats the earth.

My clever inhabitants spare me the bite of the outdoors.

My humble words seek to accompany these impressive visual arts.

As I fight to grasp only the worthy, before they too—depart!
