All around the world what do you see?
Volcanoes of hate and blizzards of envy
Wars fought but their causes unknown
Time's passing yet we still have not grown
My father he survived through his past
And told me he would never go back
The only thing to see would leave you aghast
The only goodness here seeps from a crack
"Never fight against it or prepare for misery
No matter what you do, dead is what you'll be"
Though my lips were sealed and eyes closed
In my heart I knew the truth I'd fight for
Uncovering the veil making lies exposed
Fighting against hate, this I swore
So despite the pain I'm bound to go through
Steering like a compass, remaining true
I'll believe beyond belief in this world
Release all the darkness furled
I'll have to apologize later then
But hopefully there'll be nothing to be sorry for
I will fight this fight again and again
With love as my army in this war
