maybe torture, or maybe heartbreak

Aals

a story soon forgotten

red rose peddles, all rotted away

feelings so attached all cut away

diamonds turned to coal

why’d you leave me, why’d you love me

when you knew, you had sold your soul

i was so radiant

now all there is, is a whisper

you made me believe magic was real

now my fairy tale has turned so pale

an anthem spoken but not believed

a brand new darkness has been conceived

a new meaningless flower bloomed

no better than the others

after all, in the end we’re all doomed

and so it became permanent

no time to lament

feeling doesn’t wait for our lacramae

only for times undesired

times inspired

by pain and envy

you told me you were mine

but your quintessence is in chains

not in my arms

it drives me insane

maybe the demons will let you go

but even after that

in your heart

the devil still reigns your soul

haunted by a monstrous toll

do not run to me

your heart doesn’t belong to me

it belongs to yourself

you’ve fallen

and i cannot help.
