Hunger Pains

notapoet

Your body I do hunger

And your soul I do crave

Your lips of desire

I thirst so to taste

Your scent fills my mind

And reminds me anew

Of holding each other close

As new lovers do

Trading a touch

A gaze and a kiss

Lost in the passion

Of our intimate bliss

Now thoughts of you run

Through my head all the day

Missing your smile

And the beautiful words that you say

Remembering your touch

Your feel and your taste

But it’s your heart that consumes me

When I look at your face

The photo of you helps

When my sanity wanes

But it’s just not enough

To ease these love hunger pains

NAP this is so very good
It flows so well, my kind of poem
        Love in each letter....
        I love the..
"It's your heart that consumes me when I look at your face"...

My first sight went like this...

"The first day I met my wife,
Was as being hit by a truck.
        No words I could communicate,
As my lips were firmly stuck !!!
Love is the healer of all....
