Fierce Flames

Fierce Flames

With a fury risen from ashes

Of the heat of the past

Call together the masses

Justice will be served at last

With the truth in our hands

Found deep within a web of lies

To spread it, is like carrying sand

Blown away, up to the skies

With our voices, together, standing tall

For as one, we all cannot fall

Gather it up, and let it out

Insist upon it, with your shout,

Like gallows of wind blowing over

A society built upon hatred and fear

Fight back, however not with only just anger

But with a flame of compassion that will truly sear!

Awaken from dull to see your dreams fulfilled

Unified with a blaze of glory

White-hot to remember those who were killed

And lost, like an unpleasant story

Change is not struck by a single match

Like our freedom, it we must snatch
