Revived Lovers

Corey

Yes,

here...you stand

close, so close the way you used to

giving my heart a flutter

of hope

all those

hellos and goodbyes

are what brought us through our nights

and woke us to face dawn

I couldn't have without you

it's

what frightened

me most

but,

here...you stand

a

man

who knows me

souldeep, intimately

offering a kiss we both sorely miss

the cost

of time spent together

too valuable to, just let us

rest in peace

we've paid the price for a second chance

at eternity

so

here... you stand

massaging my heartstrings,

filling my chambers with your

vital essence

an us that can never end

thoroughly through my veins

resurrection is near

My heart recognize your rhythm

{{I. am. coming. to.}}

here...we stand

together,

against our flatline

revived lovers
