head in the clouds

CaitEva

My heads been tied to the clouds for some time now and coming down
feels scary so God forgive me when I say the world is dying but
some of us are flying while others drown, if I could stay up
here forever I'd never be bitter or pull a frown.
wanna pull others up here to enjoy the view with me
so they can see more than just one town and
hopefully what was once lost to all of us can be found.

In my conscious moments I make internal vows promising
I'll never let myself down, disallow disadvantages to get in my way and
all the lessons coming my way I know my energies tied to them, you're one
of those lessons and our souls are bound with invisible chains until we
come around.
