On my way home
The girl on the train looks so alone
Staying into the distance with her music on
I wonder about her life and what might be wrong
Her pain is my gain and she inspired me to write this song
5ft tall looking like she might of been bullied at school
But she is so pretty, yeah she is pretty
If you grew up my way you might of said she was a fitty.
Now I'm staring at her for quite a while, she looks back at me with that awkward smile
I realise now for some time that I have stared at her for a few stops on this line.
I wish i could just say I'm not being a creep but your thoughts seem so deep
I wanna know what's up girl what's seems to be wrong
Maybe I could show her this little song
But if I guy you don't know said that to you
What could you say back what might you do
You probably move seats and think oh here goes
And I want to cheer her up and not add to her woes
Ok so I got my phone and I'm writing away, thinking that maybe I could chat to here there might be away
So I finish the line that comes in my mind and as the doors open and the stations announced
I think I might start chatting and show her this song but as I look up I see that's she's gone.
I missed a chance to make her smile and I guess I'll regret that for quite a while.
