Echoes and Shadows

JerryBolton

I hear the echo
of your voice across the vast landscape
two shadows poised to meet
you whisper in my ear
remember when
and
did we do that
I feel the slightest touch upon my cheek
your tongue ever so wet
we are apart
but . . .
distance is null and void
when imagination and fantasy are at work
tonight we might chat
you said
keep your fingers crossed
I do
never mind
we have an echo a-stirring
all these miles
between us and our desire
our shadows interact
thought process's at work
I feel your lips
upon my own, nectar from your mouth
unto me
you lift back your head
my tongue finds your throat
and has it way there
working my way to your favorite spot
we know where, don't we
the night is young
