Trapped Deep Inside.

beyond the life that we can never see or hear
silenced by something which beckons our calling
enticed by some dreaming which lightens our skies
invisibility is impossible for all of those desires we have
an open heart with a path that can lead us the way
hope thought of us, with the hand that held out the key
built into us with all the things we could ever wish for
not knowing what it is that makes us all keep going
surprises fall from above with the expectancy of love
cherishing in thoughts that somehow stays alive
regrets from the past that stirred up a cloudy storm
nevermind, without falling over we try to stay calm
conflicted with pain with the confused thoughts again
untwisted by a spirit which is trapped deep inside
with a shout that we hear, belief will catch us when we fall
so we have what we have and we give what we give
learning lessons, climbing the hills stronger as we grow
disappointment raised a glass which we all overcome
our saints that survive and in love we fell with greatness
together we stand and through the nights that we sleep
in this life which we have with all the memories we keep.
