Sun
failed to
rise this morning
when you began to
say goodbye
The day
moved along in slow motion
while I followed you
around the house
gathering up pieces of you
that felt like you were
ripping us
a p a r t
My
eyes are
having trouble with the sight
of me living a life
without you
I
can't
imagine
never holding you in my arms again
Every
thought of you
no longer loving me
my heart threatened to
stop
Last night
the Moon lost
it's glow
as
I
watched
you
go
