Normal, Average, Standard, The Usual

poetboy123

Getting up everyday, same old

Eating breakfast, going to school

Mellowing in, doing as we're told

Raised up by jesters to be fools

2000 killed on their side, 10 on ours

Yet we scream at the injustice delivered

Not going to the graves who need flowers

Calling with war, so misery answered

Newspapers printed out with false ink

Truth changed to meet our needs

Just nod your head and blink

Death suffered to quench greed

Perfect portrait, matched with flawless strokes

With an oil paint set sinking deep

Only a single match can provoke

A fire to kill the shepard and save the sheep

Roar out with your fury to the atrocities

Pull out the chains which ground you

Lives to lose, but a world to reseize

Returning to peace, and a truth that's true

Pain is simply a reminder for what you're fighting for

So fight back for this world we were swore
