Teacher

Tristan Robert Lange

So you think you know
The way it all should go,
You say that I now glow,
But you still don't know me.

Suck the life out of me
Like the fury of the sea,
You just could not let it be,
You are agony everlasting.

You take credit for who I am
But never had the master plan,
I've always been my own man,
You can't take that away from me.

Teacher, may I now speak?
Your assessment is utterly bleak.
I think your reasoning is rather weak;
Your lies shall not weigh upon me!
