Better Days Ahead

Nia

"I don't need you but I want you" jhene aiko's the worst lyrics blast through my civics radio as I drive down I- 64 singing at the top of my lungs. Your outter appearance was perfect but your insides were just as fucked up as an old school chevy, I still see beauty in you. I didnt want to let you go but the thought of you was making me happier then physically being with you. For me it was never about the sex, i fell in love with your actions, your words would linger in my mind and a piece of me was hoping you meant what you said. You took that last shattered piece of heart i had left and tossed it. I didnt stand a chance against your sweet ways and salty intentions. In my heart you'll remain but in my presence you'll sway away because Im done with this merry- go- round of affections and inconsistency.
