Mentally, what you run from comes closer,
like crossing an imaginary bridge and getting trapped in an enclosure.
Unresolved thoughts become your owner and facing them is like seeing the
light and crossing over, not facing them makes the process of growing slower so
your mind gets glazed over even though physically you get older.
Encaged in a flesh prison with mental borders...
hoarder of negative thoughts, negative re-inforcer
Ignoring the signs and growing colder.
Your shadow comes out to play when you ignore the signs,
acting clumsy spending all your money
staying faded Friday to Monday doing role-play as a voodoo dummy
running from your thoughts thinking you've had a lucky escape, unlucky...

Interesting reasoning! I enjoyed this poem!
thankyou 😀
I can relate to the struggle with unpleasant, obsessive thoughts.
It really seems impossible to run from them, much like a little demon that cannot be ignored! 🙂 (I invite you to read my poem "The Demon", you might enjoy it).
Excellent write! 🙂 x
Perfect way to describe them 🙂 and sure thing! I'll go do that now 🙂
thankyou!! X
