Hes dead, hes really dead.
People wearing black masks led me to your final breath;
As I lay this last kiss upon your faceless crest, I destroy my life in your shoes.
I may have lost my light in the race to finish the fight but, you were in the passenger seat tapping along to my annihilation.
What have you done, you broke your heart and nothing can be undone.
I slide my hand off the wheel as my mind rediscovers the hopelessness in your fingertips;
I say my goodbyes as I welcome Thanatos to my newly developed soul.
As I lay this last kiss upon your faceless crest, I destroy my life in your shoes.
Shes dead, shes really dead.
Insert the needle; put her out of her misery,
they promised youd be happier but I saw you jolt in panic, your life couldnt be over yet.
I watched and stared for I took a life;
you're not ready.
They promised you would get better,
now im stuck cradling your ashes every night.
are you still there?
I can't hear you
"shes gone".
I stuck the needle inside your veins and put you out of your felicity.
I'm dead, I'm really dead
The goddess Aphrodite welcomed me into a world with such hope,
what a dastardly lie she fed me.
I age into the memory of tomorrow and for once I can see the sun rising over the sea.
A man shone his brights into my car and I couldn't see what the future foretold.
They held my hands, keeping me in place while the world around me spun;
I'm going home.
Penthos and Algea said to Janus "what have we done to this child";
I'm going home.
The goddess Aphrodite welcomed me into a world with such hope.
