Rays of Light

Augustus

So much love has been given
In awe projected my way,
As if directed by Heaven,
More arriving every day.

From great distance, other continents,
Varied languages, islands at sea,
It's like Christmas, such contentment,
Sadness vanquished, filled with glee.

So as my cup brims and I tremble with delight
I share with my friends these gentle rays of light.
