Broken Singles Prayer

When we first started talking it was really whatever

Never thought I’d be so into you and didn’t wanna be together

Then I spent time with you and got to know you better

When I had a rainy days you were my umbrella through stormy weather

At first it was a slow connection but soon you got me going crazy

Not for long your name in my every conversation

I couldn’t help but mention

Things started getting deeper, soon you were the wire to my connection

Even though there was another person, they were no competition

You’d call me every day like you were addicted to my attention

I guess I fooled myself and started to believe that there’d come a day

When I could look you in your eyes knowing you feel the same

And say baby you always on my mind every single time

Every moment of my life

And maybe wanna be husband and wife

Could that be right?

Could that be wrong?

If that were to happen could we stay strong

In my heart is where you belong forget what they say

My love for you grows every single day

And I promise you baby I’ll keep it that way

If you see a star go by, make a wish, I’ll make mine

All I need you to do is love me right, and we’ll be fine
