Hold on

WG7

Look upon the sky

You might want to fly

Instead hold on

And eat a bonbon

See the sunrise

Do not speak of lies

See the sunset

Do not place bets

Wonder of your life

Get rid of the knife

Go climb hills

Instead of using pills

Instead of drowning yourself

Be thyself

Don't forget the past

But don't dwell on the past

We love you

You might love us too

Don't be afraid to tell

Do it for the ones who fell

Stay strong

You are not wrong

Don't let fears control

Don't hide in a hole

See the sun

Please don't die hun

Look at the stars

Want to live on mars

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The past
Is where the bad happened
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The present

Is where we are now

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The future
Will unfold itself soon
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Love it, well done, you are a great poet! Don't worry I find it kind of hard to write happy poems too 🙂

      Thank you. Also I think a lot of people do. Or maybe they don't.

        Who knows? I don't know anyone (apart from mps) who writes poems... my best friend does sometimes but I dragged her into it lol!
        Looking forward to your next poem

        This is so very beautiful, and very hopeful! I'm glad you've written it, because it's just amazing!

        • WG7

          Thank you that means a lot to me, but I only wrote it because someone wants me to write happier ones.

          • Allan J. Renaldo

            Of course! And my mom once said that I should write happier ones also, but I cannot do that it seems. I rather enjoy the darker ones! But this is amazing!

                Welcome

              • Tristan Robert Lange

                Well done! This is more than mere poetry, it is wisdom. I know how tough it is to express such wisdom when it seems counter to my own dark, present reality; however, you expressed that wisdom exquisitely. I hope that it acts as a reminder to you that no matter how dark things get, there is always hope. I know this poem will act as that reminder to me. Another masterful write!!!
