There is a gatekeeper in side of you and inside of me,
Clutching Oh clutching a key,
to what gave me life, you see.
He hides not in the fires of our eyes.
no its much deeper, where he lies.
A violin, such a beautiful symphony
A symphony old as time but new to me.
quickly, secluding into sleep.
Fires from the gate no longer will he keep.
such a beautiful note played in key
oh but a fool it made of we.
Broken strings and fallen notes
but what of what he wrote?
Awakened now, the gatekeeper stirs
and sees the damage he had unearthed.
There is a gatekeeper inside of you and inside of me,
clutching oh clutching the key,
that he holds restlessly.
Be strong against the wind and quick on your feet,
and learn from what he took from me.
Who is our true enemy?
