Devil in Disguise

Poems_

Innocence fills his eyes
But his soul is pure evil
Beauty covers his face
But his heart is ugly
Angels speak through him
But his mind is ruled with demons
He is gifted with many talents
But he uses it for terror
His hair is like soft silk
But his head is filled with nonsense
You can't trust anyone

All things, all people, are never what they seem at the first glance. In Nature it is camouflage, a defense mechanism, in people it is deceit. Drawing the parallel, people deceive to protect themselves, from hurt, from embarrassment, from emotion mainly.
Your poem shows the good and the evil we all fear, lurking in us all. Great comparisons. Great poem. - Phil A.

I don't know how but you sneaked a peek at my biography. Heh, heh. Just teasing. Some people just are not what they want us to think. Well done.
