How Does It Feel?

VictoriaOliviaGreene

How does it feel

to not be loved?

How does it feel

to know that it's all your fault?

How does it feel

to fear men?

How does it feel

to be afraid to close your eyes?

How does it feel

to be a failure?

How does it feel

to be scum of the earth?

How does it feel

to hate yourself?

How does it feel?

I'll tell you how it feels.

It feels awful.

thanks, it was almost published, it could have been but I didn't want to pay for it or have my name attached to it, Victoria Olivia Greene is a pen name that I came up with about 5 months ago.

        Welcome

Sounds like depression. But then if you can write about it that may be helpful. Some have worked their way out it, others need help.Your poetic voice is crying, and your poem says help me. - Phil A.

I do need help but the doctors think other parts of my health are more important. I disagree.

Sounds like an abused person believing all the crap she was told. I'll bet there is real beauty there however. Hugs. Nicely done.

You are spot on Augustus, except the beauty part 🙁 Thanks for the hugs. Much needed. Hugs back.

You may need to take a closer look. I bet if you put on an outfit like you were going for a job interview and a smile on your face and hung out with some positive friends that did not speak trash you would like yourself more. You are making me remember that 30 years ago I left little post-it notes all around the house. "I am terrific". , "I am deserving" etc. It helped. Another hug.
