Moments of realisation.

Antoinette

For a moment:

Time. Stood still, alone

Quiet. As if nothing else mattered.

Like a stationary heart, prone

To loneliness. The body battered.

By winds of corpses.

Storms of bellowing noises.

Rains of liars on horses.

Time. Oh how it stopped

Suddenly. As if nothing were the same.

The blood clotted in my veins, blocked

by the anger of the name.

It's every lasting indentation.

The haunting damnation.

The terrifically arousing persuasion.

Time started all over again

And only then could I appreciate

The way malevolence rein

Supreme over your mistake.

Ha.

You thought I'd cower.

You thought I'd cry.

You thought I'd crouch behind Time

But time revealed to me the truth

Of your words. Sweetheart.

Such a sweet talker but Actions!

Speak louder... than...words.
