The honesty of words

Like the shimmer of light 

you ooze the glow of life, 

For a clean cut diamond

cannot compare to your radiance. 

When my eyes shift

and my eyes start to wonder, 

they fall 

into a world of passion, 

for I now know where I can retire too

after a hard days labour. 

Your luminosity echoes through you

and I am grateful to see 

the honesty of words

combine into such sweet stanzas.

They form into beauty,

a poem so sweet and inspiring,

for they grow

in the heart and soul

of an enriching rhapsodist.
