Happiness?
That's a name I haven't heard in years.
That name just brings back memories that create tears
Well they used to be tears of joy
Until he left me, using me as some toy
For him to use and use and use
And I'd just lose and lose and lose
The main thing I lost was him
Love?
Yes I've been in love, all it did was break me
I thought it was meant to be
Guess he thought something else
Guess he was just thinking about himself
He'd just make me cry and cry and cry
The only thing he had to say was goodbye
Why did he have to leave me?
Joy?
Joy used to be my best friend
Until the relationship just had to end
Every time he would walk by, I'd scream silently
But now when i see him, I'll sigh painfully
Everyday I'd scream why why why
Why did our love fry?
I don't even know the reason

Great write
The pain jumps right off the screen. The road to everlasting love seems paved with broken hearts. I wish you peace.
True love never dies. It simply never was. True love is between two people. Love can exist for one, but that's not true love. Whether true or not the one in love is hurt when it ends. With time the wounds heal, we carry on, and if extremely lucky we find the one true love of our lives. Very good poem expressing how you felt and continue to feel. - Phil A.
