Hiding In Your Heart.

worried about what you said or did when you're feeling so down and out
you took the blame for the things you're loved ones never did
left alone with those emotions stirring up the devil inside your soul
distance prevailed with the failure of everyone taking another road
and thoughts that never existed until realise made you decide
pleased came forward with the hands that never did
filling tears up by saddened emotions, it's madness in the first degree
bitten more than ever before shy was introduced to twice
wonder made the secret tales of your existence that never was
scared by the movement of the minds that surrounded life itself
but in winning by a standard which has no understanding of living
sacrificed your legacy when you gave a million broken heart away
so smiles took off their sleeves and gave them all to you
crying to be held in your mother's arms, with other dream or two
but you grew up enough to really understand about this poem
and in learning from your mistakes that it's hiding in your heart
for those shades of grey will murder and put you in a grave
and those flowers were given not to say hello but to say goodbye
for farewell was used to being alone sat by the riverside all night
pulling all your dreams together with the fighting mighty glory of brave.
